Angela Chan is a musician, composer, and lyricist based in Las Vegas. She has performed all over North America as the Associate Conductor & keyboard player on the national tours of “South Pacific,” “CATS,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Sound of Music,” and “The Wizard of Oz.” She has also performed as a local keyboard sub at the Smith Center for the national tours of “Anything Goes,” “Waitress,” “An American in Paris,” “My Fair Lady,” and “Wicked.” In Las Vegas she has performed in “The Producers,” “Spamalot,” “Mamma Mia,” “Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular,” “The Lion King,” “Jersey Boys,” the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Nevada Ballet Theatre, Cirque du Soleil’s “KA,” & was most recently the Assistant Bandleader/Keyboard 1 at “Le Reve: The Dream” at the Wynn!

She was also the Associate Music Director/Keyboards for the world premiere of a new musical called “Bruce” at the Seattle Rep, written by Richard Oberacker and Rob Taylor (The Bandstand), as well as serving as the Music Director for several other new works in development there!

Angela’s writing accolades include “Legacy of the Tiger Mother, ” which won a “Best of the Fringe Festival” award in the San Francisco Fringe Festival in 2012 (book, composer, lyricist), “Sudoku” which won a “Best of the Fringe Festival” award in Las Vegas in 2013 (composer), and Sex N the City: A SUPER Unauthorized Musical Parody (Composer)!

Angela is also the founder of a brand called The Cre8sian Project, which was created as a way to give back to the community while empowering Asian women in the Arts industry.
