Paulina Jurzec began her career working as an on-stage video and camera operator with Theatre de la Jeune Lune (The Moving Company) before moving to New York, where she trained with The Wooster Group and completed a Master’s in Documentary Film Production.

Her opera credits include Carmina Burana, Maria de Buenos Aires, Figaro, Don Juan Giovanni (Theatre de la Jeune Lune), The Rape of Lucretia (Loft Opera), Persona (Beth Morrison Company) and Na’ama Zisser’s Mamzer / Bastard (Royal Opera House, London). Music theatre credits include The Jungle (The Curran), Hamlet and Who’s your DADA (The Wooster Group) Bat Out of Hell (UK, CAN, NYC) and World of Wires (The Kitchen). Jurzec was Associate Video Designer for House/Divided (The Builders’ Association), Associate Video Designer for The West Side Story, “Revival” workshop in 2018 and Video Designer for Mamzer / Bastard (ROH).

Film credits include Assistant Editor for the feature documentary Without Shepherds (2013), Editor for the award-winning short documentary film Amber (2011) and Editor for the feature film The Seducer (2009). Her debut documentary short film, Dougie (2018) was awarded Best Editing at the CityVisions premiere in New York. Jurzec has produced various music videos and short film productions and was recently nominated for the New York Women in Film and Television Award (2018).
