Simon graduated from the university of Durham and eventually became a production manager having previously worked as a stage manager for English National Opera and Scottish Opera.

For twenty years he was director and co-owner of Crosbie Marlow Associates.

Simon now runs Marlow Production Management Ltd which is an international production management company specialising in large scale musicals and West End plays. He has been privileged to technically supervise numerous international productions of shows such as Mamma Mia! and The Phantom of The Opera. Outside of musical and West End theatre he has technically managed many other projects such as Kate Bush’s return to live performance at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2014, as well as setting up the three Kings Cross Theatres, which as temporary structures presented: The Railway Children, In the Heights, Lazarus and the award winning Donmar Warehouse Shakespeare season. Recent West End productions include; & Juliet The Musical and Back to the Future.

During the COVID pandemic, Simon was privileged to be associated with The Theatre Support Fund and production managed the joyful gala The Show Must Go On! Live.

Simon is proud to have been a part of Bat Out of Hell The Musical since its beginnings – and has taken it from Manchester to Toronto, via, the London Coliseum and beyond.
